Rotarian of the Day is Miles Forrest.Miles Forrest joined Rotary on February 1, 1982. He is a Past President (1992-1993) and is currently a member of the Rotary Board. Miles is the publisher for the Houma Courier and he enjoys traveling, good wine and good food, genealogy, and motorcycling!! He says he has been married to his wife, Chris Dill, for “38 years and holding” and they are the proud parents of two children, Christian and Rae, who both live in Birmingham. He is very proud of his 7 year old grandson, Ethan Miles Forrest. A family fact many may not be aware of is Miles and fellow Rotarian, Jude Laperouse, are brothers-in-law. Jude’s wife, Susan, and Miles’ wife, Chris, are sisters.
Donna Henderson Wright is one of our club’s newest members and Miles is delighted to have her as his guest speaker. A native of Hattiesburg, MS, Donna is an attorney by profession, licensed to practice in both MS and LA, and she says she is glad to be here in South Louisiana practicing law. Donna is an honorably discharged veteran, having proudly served in the US Army from 1980-1986! Her résumé and credentials are much too extensive to even begin to list, but her program today will give us a glimpse into what she has done as she touches on her adventures with nation building in Central Asia and Afghanistan following 9/11. |

Claiborne Berwick Duval joined Rotary on September 12, 2007 under the sponsorship of his mother, Alexis Duval. He is a Bank Manager and Loan Officer at So. LA Bank . He is currently on the Rotary Board and serves as Community Outreach Chair. Claiborne and his wife, Addie, are the proud parents of a wonderful son, Luke, and they are waiting anxiously for the arrival of their second child due on May 13th. In his spare time, Claiborne enjoys LSU football, hunting, and playing both soccer and flag football.
